What is important to us?

At the Mindful Explorers, we blend creativity and mindfulness in a nurturing environment, with nature at the heart of everything we do. As an experienced primary school teacher and mindfulness practitioner, I offer mindfulness, self-care and wellbeing classes, workshops and programmes in schools, private classes and community groups. As a mum of two, Iā€™m passionate about empowering children, families and schools to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing using practical and simple techniques that can truly make a difference.

Our fun and engaging classes help kids learn emotional regulation, build connections, and promote overall wellbeing. Through hands-on activities, children develop emotional resilience, coping strategies and self-awareness while figuring out how to manage their feelings. Whether in schools or community settings, we strive to create a warm and welcoming space where children can flourish emotionally and socially.

Nature plays a big role in what we do. We encourage a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around us, helping children, families and schools connect with both nature and themselves.

Our aim is for children, families, and teaching staff to walk away from each session feeling supported, balanced and equipped with practical tools to handle life's ups and downs, boosting their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
