π November Journaling Prompts π
have been a journal writer for as long as I can remember and over the years I have enjoyed journaling with the children I have taught. I once had a delightful term teaching art journaling to KS2 children!
I love to use it to reflect and whether youβre an educator or a student, journaling is a wonderful way to build self-awareness, focus on gratitude and set positive intentions for the weeks ahead. β¨
π For Teachers & TAs:
1. Reflect on a moment in the past month where you felt a sense of accomplishment in the classroom. What happened, and why did it feel meaningful to you?
2. Describe a small act of kindness you witnessed in your classroom. How did it impact you and the class?
3. Think of one area youβd like to grow in this month as an educator. Whatβs a small step you can take to begin that journey? π±
π For Students:
1. Whatβs one thing you learned this month that made you feel proud? Describe it and how it made you feel!
2. Write about a time you helped a friend or a classmate recently. What did you do and how did it make you feel?
3. If you could try something new in class this month, what would it be? Why do you think it would be fun or helpful? π
Journaling together as a class community can create moments of connection and encourage a positive learning environment. It's great to start the month with a fresh mindset and a grateful heart! β€οΈπ
